The dielectric constant (epsilon) of the binary mixtures of MIBK with
some carboxylic acids viz. acetic acid, propanoic acid and butyric aci
d is measured at 303.16 K at 455 kHz. The experimental data are used t
o compute the excess dielectric constant (Delta epsilon), mutual corre
lation factor (g(ab)); excess molar polarization (Delta P) and excess
free energy of mixing (Delta G(ab)) in these mixtures.
