Abstract
A convenient synthesis of 5-(methoxycarbonylmethylaminomethylene) (3a- e), 5-[(methyl propionate)-2-ylaminomethylene] (4a-e) and 5-bis(2'-car bethoxyethyl) (5d-h) substituted derivatives of ,2,3,4,5,6-hexahydro-4 ,6-dioxo-2-thioxopyrimidines has been reported. Compounds 3c, 3e, 5e a nd 5f show feeble insecticidal activity.
