Abstract
The phytochemical investigation of Ixora finlarysoniana leads to the i solation and identification of apigenin-4'-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1 ) and a new aliphatic keto alcohol which has been characterised as 11- hydroxy-dodec-5-en-2-one (2) based on chemical, degradative and spectr oscopic studies.
