TRADITIONAL RESEARCH AND APPLIED MEDICINE

We wanted to show, that applied medicine during the last centuries had not necessarily be neglected. Medical doctors could have made statist ics on results of consultations - say 450 years ago. By that we today could have seen, how they coped with complaints of their patients and which labels they applied. We bring an example from nowadays to illust rate one point of view. Today it is especially urgent scientifically t o care on a broad scale about medicine applied by doctors extramurally . Only this way applied medicine can be raised to the level which trad itional branches of medical research are keeping.
