Hip surgery is the most common orthopaedic surgery in die older person
. Physical therapy, as part of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation te
am, plays an important role in assisting hip fracture patients in retu
rning to their prefracture level of functioning as well as decreasing
the incidence of complications via early mobilization. With the trend
in the increasing number of aging Americans and the changes in the del
