Abstract
This study investigated an application of fuzzy modelling and conventi onal dynamic programming, to optimal biological control of a greenhous e mite/cucumber system. Based on a fuzzy model and a hypothetic nonfuz zy economic criterion of control cost and crop loss caused by pest mit es, the optimal management strategies (with minimal control cost and c rop loss) are obtained.
