H. Lach et Z. Srebro, CHRONOPHYSIOLOGIC ANALYSIS OF THE CIRCADIAN LOCOMOTOR AND MOTOR-ACTIVITY OF MICE AND THE EFFECT OF VASOPRESSIN ADMINISTRATION, Acta Biologica Cracoviensia. Series Zoologia, 38, 1996, pp. 29-33
Fourier component amplitudes and phases of the diurnal rhythm of locom
otor and motor activity of laboratory mice were obtained and compared
in normal and lysine-vasopressin treated animals. The neuropeptide sta
bilizes the locomotor activity around a certain value in all experimen
tal groups. The stabilizing action on motor activity is observed only
in animals kept in a 12:12 light-dark regimen.
