Abstract
The behavior of the indium electrode in perchlorate solutions in a bro ad acidity range is analyzed in terms of a model allowing for hydrolys is of the In+ and In3+ ions. The condition of the In+, In3+, and H+ co ncentration stability is shown to be fulfilled when the reactions of t he In3+ ion hydrolysis are taken into account.
