THE STUDY OF A PHOTOCHEMICAL AND ELECTROCHEMICAL TREATMENT OF AQUEOUS-SOLUTIONS OF AZO DYES

The bleaching of a Direct Black azo dye solution under the action of l ight and electrochemical and photoelectrochemical factors is studied. All these treatments are shown to cause an intensive bleaching of the azo dye solution, as a result of the azo dye molecule destruction invo lving both its conjugated bonds and aromatic fragments.
