Abstract
The induced discrete conversion involving a nuclear transition in keV- region is considered for the first time. As a result of such conversio n in electromagnetic field with spectral flux F greater than or simila r to 1.1 . 10(25) photons/(cm(2) . s . 0.1%BW), the 6.01 h lifetime of the Tc-99m isomer can be reduced significantly.
