Abstract
In this paper, theoretical moment expressions for elution and frontal chromatographies are derived when the packing material in a column is pellicular ion exchange resin. From the retention time and the height equivalent to a theoretical plate (HEPT) obtained, the advantages of t he pellicular ion exchange resin are discussed by comparing with the c onventional ion exchange resin bead.
