Abstract
Naturally occurring, well-constructed queen cells from good bee breedi ng stock can be a good source of new queens in a beekeeping operation. To use these queen cells, the beekeeper should know some basic queen cell biology and possess the skills to move queen cells between coloni es. More specifically, the beekeeper mast learn how to judge good quee n cells from inferior ones, how to remove queen cells front the comb, how to transport queen cells between apiaries, how to reattach queen c ells to the comb and how to troubleshoot with queen cells.
