Acute rhabdomyolysis after uncomplicated, primary varicella-zoster inf

ection and review the literature regarding the etiology, diagnosis, an
d management of this potentially life-threatening condition, Rapid rec
ognition, along with appropriate treatment, should result in an excell
ent recovery without adverse sequelae.
