Abstract
Two methods are proposed for purification of perfluorinated organic co mpounds: alkali decomposition of polyfluorinated compounds and their e xhaustive fluorination with elemental fluorine on catalysts (transitio n metal fluorides). Characteristics of purified perfluorinated paraffi ns, ethers, and trialkylamines are given. Features of alkali decomposi tion and fluorination of perfluorinated organic compounds are studied.
