Abstract
In the title complex, mophenyliminomethyl)phenolato-N,O]chloroiron(III ), [FeCl(C13H9BrNO)(2)], the Fe3+ ion shows a distorted square-pyramid al geometry, with the N and O ligand atoms forming the base [Fe-O 1.85 7 (3) and 1.864 (3) Angstrom, and Fe-N 2.144 (3) and 2.164 (3) Angstro m] and the Cl atom at the apex [Fe-Cl 2.238 (1) Angstrom].
