Abstract
Theory of accumulated long-lived photon echo in Van Vleck paramagnetic s is developed. From comparison with experimental data obtained in LaF 3 : Pr3+ (the H-3(4)-P-3(0) transition) the relaxation rates of popula tion of the H-3(4)(0) level hyperfine transitions are estimated.
