Abstract
Clinical tests demonstrated that laser therapy may be successfully app lied in the complex treatment of toxic forms of diphtheria in adults. The earlier the invasive irradiation of blood of patients is started w ith a He-Ne laser at the wavelength of 0.63 mu m, the higher its effic iency. An optimal course of treatment consists of five to eight irradi ation sessions.
