A method was developed for determining higher carboxylic acids and N-a
cylamino acids in aqueous-alkaline solutions of N-acyl derivatives of
protein hydrolyzates and commercial products based on these materials.
This method is based on the extraction of acids to be determined from
the samples analyzed, the alkylation of these acids, and the chromato
graphy of the derivatives obtained.
