Abstract
This paper deals with the development of a systematic approach to volt age stability assessment of large-scale power systems. A brief descrip tion of the different tools for voltage stability analysis is given fi rst, then a systematic procedure which addresses some important practi cal issues is proposed. Presentation of analysis tools is focused on t he VSTAB and ETMSP programs. Finally, a large-scale case study is pres ented illustrating the proposed procedure.
