Tomographic methods for the reconstruction of the interior structure o
f solid objects are widely used in nondestructive testing applications
. However adapting standard 2D-algorithms for truly 3D-reconstructions
require an unacceptable huge amount of data. This can be avoided by l
ocal methods which only aim at reconstructing the discontinuities of t
he object. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the usefulness
of the algorithm described in [3] with data front experimental X-ray m
easurements.
