DERIVING CONCLUSION IN AN EXPERT SCHEDULING SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING FERROCEMENT ELEMENTS

The purpose of the present work is to develop an expert scheduling sys tem for producing ferrocement elements. The system is able to encapsul ate some of the expertise used by planners in manufacturing environmen t. The knowledge acquisition process involves both the elicitation of knowledge directly from experts, and the analysis of reports from ferr ocement factories. An application of the expert scheduling system is p resented in order to verify its uses and to identify its principal dif ficulties and limitations.
