Abstract
This paper presents a finite volume discretization method for the conv ection-diffusion-reaction equation, which serves as a model problem in combustion theory. The fluxes associated with this equation are compu ted by an exponential scheme such that the resulting method is second order accurate for both diffusion dominated and convection dominated f lows.
