Abstract
Superconducting circular disk resonators operating in edge-current-fre e rotational symmetric TM(0n0) modes have been proposed. These resonat ors provide a power handling capability for planar filters which is a factor of 10(2)-10(3) higher than that of state-of-the-art superconduc ting filters using other resonator types.
