Five studies have been conducted with 13 14 adults and teenagers, in order to translate the items and assess (a ) their comprehensibility (study 1), (b) concurrent solidity (study 2 and 3), (c) reliability (internal consistency and test-retest reliabil ity) and (d) construct validity (factorial structure) (study 4). We al so aimed at examinies the effects or correlates of psychologic constru ct (study 4 and 5). The QPSS has been found to possess strong psychome tric properties enabling to measure achievement goal orientations amon g French teenagers and adults sportsmen.
