Abstract
A simple, convenient method for determining injection volumes in flow injection and sequential injection analysis is presented. It is based on comparing the dilution of an injected dye with a standard calibrati on curve. The proposed colour method gave the volume of the whole inje ction device more accurately than methods where the inner dimensions o f the injection device are not precisely known, The colour method is w ithin the 95% confidence level with an RSD of 0.8%.
