Abstract
The scope of this paper is to focus the attention on the newly produce d ashes - residues after fluidized bed coal combustion. The favourite phase composition of this material due to low combustion temperature o f 850 degrees C exhibits very good cementitious properties. Fluidized ashes may be preferably used in the production of some types of Portla nd cement as a gypsum replacement and in cement-free concretes. The qu ality tests of this sulfo-calcareous material are proposed as well as some application possibilities.
