Abstract
The purpose of present investigation is to evaluate the efficacy of fl ocoumafen, a second generation anticoagulant rodenticide, against few rodent species. The rodenticide was given in the form of bait for 24 h in no-choice feeding test ro both the sexes, The symptoms of toxicity appeared 72 h after exposure ro poison bait, The mortality data revea ls a complete kill with 0,005% in all the species except in case of Mi llardia meltada which requires 2 days exposure with no-significance di fference in days to death. The acceptability of the compound was good, The result thus indicates that flocoumafen is very potent anticogulan t and requires very short period of exposure.
