Abstract
The deposition of immunoglobulin (Ig) light chains after renal transpl antation most commonly occurs as a manifestation of recurrent multiple myeloma or recurrent light chain nephropathy. We report the developme nt of de novo light chain deposition disease (LCDD) in a cadaveric ren al transplant recipient 16 years after transplantation with no evidenc e of prior multiple myeloma or LCDD and no current evidence of myeloma or lymphoproliferative malignancy.
