Abstract
In order to compare the efficiency of the three different well know me chanisms suggested for photosensitization in biology and medicine a '' possible mechanism'' is suggested including the primary steps of all t hree assumptions. Simulation and sensitivity analysis based on this me chanism have revealed the mostly contributing elementary steps and the extent of their contribution to the overall photodynamic effect.
