Abstract
The paper proposes a new nomenclatural approach to the systemization o f molecular container compounds. In addition to reversibly formed host -guest compounds it suggests the name of capturer-captive compounds to designate molecular container complexes where the capturer molecule ( carcerand, fullerene, etc.) captures irreversibly the captive ion, ato m or molecule.
