Abstract
Mercury-photoinduced radical reactions with cyclic diethers lead to th e expected bicyclic products. In addition, new non-symmetric dimerizat ion products are obtained as byproducts of this reaction. The generati on of these new species can be explained through selective radical-ind uced rearrangement (beta-scission). Copyright (C) 1996 Published by El sevier Science Ltd
