Abstract
Forty sera of Chlamydia trachomatis culture positive patients and fort y three sera with antibodies against Chlamydia pneumoniae only were te sted using six different methods to determine antibodies against Chlam ydia and those specific against Chlamydia trachomatis. The sensitiviti es of these tests for detection of IgG-antibodies against Chlamydia tr achomatis are good, but the specificities are not satisfying.
