We have probed the differential resistance in 2H-NbSe2 single crystals
at very low currents. For fields applied perpendicular to the sample
and in the range B-c2<B<(1.6-1.7)B-c2, the differential resistance is
Ohmic but well below the usual normal-state differential resistance ob
served at high currents. This deviation from the normal-state differen
tial resistance is ascribed to surface superconductivity on the latera
l surfaces.
