Abstract
We describe the use of fiber-optic low coherence reflectometry to noni nvasively acquire three-dimensional images of lysozyme protein crystal s in solution with a 1-5-mu m depth resolution. This type of noninvasi ve protein crystal growth monitoring might ultimately be used to impro ve the growth processes in microgravity environments. (C) 1996 John Wi ley & Sons, Inc.
