Abstract
In this Letter we study the transient behavior of a nonlinear two-coup ler fiber-ring resonator operating ns an optical oscillator. The shape of the pulses generated and the speed in the establishment of oscilla tions are investigated. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
