Abstract
High temperature (570-750 degrees C) three-point impedance measurement s on the system Pt/YSZ using a platinum reference electrode exhibited distortions/artifacts due to the voltage divider effect. These distort ions could be avoided by using a lower impedance reference electrode ( Ag) or employing an instrument with a higher input impedance. A correc tion procedure was also successful.
