Abstract
The courtship vocalizations of three species of Puerto Rican frogs (El eutherodactylus antillensis, E. cochranae, and E. coqui) are reported. These courtship calls are clearly distinct from the advertisement cal ls of each species, but they are very similar to one another. This sim ilarity suggests that these calls may represent relatively unchanged, ancestral vocalizations.
