Abstract
The experimentally supported existence of the Evans-Vigier field, B-(3 ), in vacuo implies that the gravitational and electromagnetic fields can be unified within the same Ricci tensor, being respectively its sy mmetric and antisymmetric components in vacuo. The fundamental equatio ns of motion of vacuum electromagnetism are developed in this framewor k.
