A new catalytic - fluorescence determination of trace Copper (II) has
been established by reagent 7 - (8 - hydroxy - 3, 6 - disulfonaphthyla
zo) - 8 - hydroxyquinoline - 5 - sulfonic acid, and the experimental c
onditions have been optimized by multi - object punish funtion simplex
method, they are 0.05% HSNA8Q5S 1.3 mL, 0.1 mol/L NaOH 6.2 mL, 0.1% K
IO4 1.6 mL, T 15 min. The mechanism of the reaction has been studied.
The method is applied to determine trace Copper(II) in water sample an
d alloy samples with satisfactory results.
