OROBANCHE ALSATICA IN THE VELKA-FATRA MTS

Authors briefly describe the first confirmed occurrence of the aggrega te species Orobanche alsatica KIRSCHLEGER from the summit part of Mt. Borisov (1509.4 m a. s. l.) with respect to both the composition and s tructure of plant assemblages and habitat factors responsible for the altitudinal maxima in distribution of several subthermophilous species (Festuca amethystina, Buphthalmum salicifolium, Betonica officinalis, Melittis melissophyllum, Bromus monocladus, Potentilla. thuringiaca a nd some others) in Slovakia.
