Abstract
The publication describes the results of the investigation of a gas me ter G 65 with a turbine wheel radially driven. In addition to the expe rimental activities, the paper presents the meter's working principle which differs from the well-known instrument patterns of axially drive n turbine meters. Conditions ape recommended under which the radial tu rbine gas meter can be used as a transfer standard. Its suitability is documented by the results of an intercomparison between the standard rest rigs at both of Switzerland's and Germany's national metrology in stitute, which was carried out using such a meter.
