Abstract
Plant Ca2+ channels allow calcium to flow into the cytoplasm and are c onsidered as primary targets of signals using calcium as a second mess enger. This review describes recent data on the characterization and t he study of specific properties of plasma membrane-bound voltage-depen dent Ca2+ channels of higher plant cells.
