A 3-year-old girl was found to have a distended gallbladder, which pat
hologically consisted almost entirely of a gastric-type wall, featurin
g muscularis mucosae and a well-developed bilayered muscularis propria
. This appears to be a unique, not previously recognized, malformation
of the gallbladder. Copyright (C) 1996 by W.B. Saunders Company
