Abstract
This work studies the low frequency leakage of power in covered multil ayered striplines including the possibility of several conductors on d ifferent interfaces. The appearance and features of the lateral radiat ion is discussed, assuming that only one parallel-plate waveguide mode is above cutoff, Comparison with quasi-TEM results shows that some le aky waves behave like quasi-TEM modes with radiation losses. Lateral r adiation and ohmic conductor losses are also compared.
