As we have shown earlier weak combined magnetic field, tuned to the pa
rametric resonance for Ca2+, substantially increases the rate of regen
eration of the amputated portion in the planaria Dugesia tigrina [7].
Now we used the same test-system to verify the main quantitative predi
ctions of the magnetic parametric resonance model in biosystems, inclu
ding the dependence of bioeffects of the combined magnetic field tuned
for Ca2+- and Mg2+- resonance on: 1) the ratio of the amplitudes of a
lternating and static combined magnetic field components; 2) the frequ
ency of the alternating component; 3) the value of static component (i
n the absence of alternating one). We found a remarkably good fit betw
een the predictions of the magnetic parametric resonance theory and ou
r experimental results.
