Kinetics and mechanism of allophanate formation were studied. It was f
ound that the reactivity of oligodieneurethanes of various molecular m
asses is determined by the ratio between the different forms of associ
ated end groups. Using model compounds as an example, it was shown tha
t the ionization of oligodieneurethane to a enolic anion is the first
stage of allophanate formation. The parameters of molecular mass distr
ibution of the compounds formed in the course of reaction were determi
ned. The conditions that eliminate the occurrenctified.
