Electroconducting composites based on polyaniline and polymer matrices
such as PET, PVC, plasticized PVC, and blends of PVC with the graft m
ethyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymer were prepared. In such
electroconducting composites, the polyaniline component was shown to b
e preferentially localized in the surface layers of polymer films. The
se composites were characterized by surface electrical conductivity, w
hich was comparable to the electrical conductivity of polyaniline, and
by good mechanical properties similar to those of initial polymer mat
rices.
