Emulsion copolymerization of 1,1,2-trifluoro-1,3-butadiene with chloro
prene, isoprene, and butyl acrylate was studied. Sol-gel analysis of t
he prepared copolymers and homopolymer was performed. The intrinsic vi
scosities of the sol fractions of the copolymers were determined, and
the equivalent molecular mass of the gel fractions of the copolymers w
ere calculated. The parameters of phase and relaxation transitions and
thermal stability of homo- and copolymers were investigated. It was s
hown that isoprene-1,1,2-trifluoro-1,3-butadiene copolymer exhibits th
e properties of an elastomer and is thermally stable at temperatures u
p to 280 degrees C.
