Ultrasonographic examination of the digestive tract has been developed
because of the obstacle caused by digestive gases. The technique and
the preparation are therefore important when wanting to obtain quality
images. The author first of all presents the normal ultrasonographic
aspect of the digestive tract and in particular the ultrasonoanatomy o
f its wall. She goes on to outline an illustrate the ultrasonographic
aspect of some digestive lesions: congenital diseases, intussusception
, foreign objects, inflammation and rumours.
