Abstract
Nd-Fe-B powders prepared by HDDR are investigated. Using a torsion pen dulum magnetometer, the magnetic stiffness and the energy dissipation in alternating magnetic fields are measured. Both stiffness and energy dissipation curves give evidence for interactions between neighboring grains within each powder particle. Energy dissipation measurements a fter thermal demagnetization give no hints for domain wall movements.
